ORGANIZATIONAL STRUCTURE

Our global movement functions by a governing board of directors that includes leaders from the business world, civil society and most importantly, the SRHRJ community itself.

The IYAFP’s Executive Team is an entirely youth-led team of young human rights defenders based across multiple regions around the world working remotely and managing and operating the global team at large. 

The Country Coordinator is the representative of their country’s youth on matters of SRHRJ within IYAFP’s global network. The Country Coordinator is a connector who also serves as the country chapter lead and engages a Country Coordinating Team (CCT). A Country Coordinator is a human rights defender that oversees the development and growth of their country chapter and serves as the direct point of contact with the Executive Team. At this time, country chapters are not registered in their country of operation.

At the country chapter level, the Country Coordinating Team is responsible to manage, engage and grow the membership of the IYAFP network in the country and to ensure that as a collective the country chapter commits to working together to improve the state of SRHRJ in their respective communities.

Country members of IYAFP consists of a diverse network of young people that are passionate to drive the agendas that are aligned with the country chapters as well as IYAFP at large, and change the current state of things in their respective communities and countries.
